Transform Ideas into Impact – January to April 2025

CIE Ignite S01 is an exciting opportunity for students eager to explore innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship during their EIE (Essentials of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) course. Running from January to April, this program offers a structured platform for participants to apply what they’ve learned in class. Students will have the chance to collaborate with peers from various disciplines, fostering an environment ripe for generating groundbreaking ideas and transforming them into actionable solutions.

With a strong emphasis on ideation, prototyping, pitching, and teamwork, CIE Ignite Season 01 aims to inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. Participants are looking forward to the journey and the potential to develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic setting.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  1. Foster Innovation: Encourage students to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.
  2. Apply Course Learnings: Provide hands-on experience in ideation, team dynamics, prototyping, and pitching.
  3. Promote Collaboration: Encourage interdisciplinary teamwork and gender diversity in team formation. Reward

IDEATION

Date: 27th Januray

Key Activities:

  • Create your team.
  • Submit your idea via Google Forms.

Entry Criteria: Team creation and Idea Submission PowerPoint.

Method: Online submission through Google Forms, handled by individual departments.

PRELIMINARY PITCH

Date: 10th February

Key Activities:

  • Submit the Elevator Pitch Deck by 27th Jan.
  • Present a 5-minute pitch in front of the Jury.

Entry Criteria: Elevator Pitch Deck submission by 27th Jan.

Method: Offline presentation, 5-minute pitch.

Outcome: ~100 ideas selected to move to Stage S2.

TEAM PITCH

Date: 14th March

Key Activities:

  • Submit Team Pitch Deck by 11th March.
  • Present a 10-minute presentation with Q&A.

Entry Criteria: Team Pitch Deck submission by 11th March.

Method: Offline presentation, 10-minute presentation with Q&A.

Outcome: ~10 ideas selected to move to Stage S3.

GRAND FINALE

Date: 16th April

Key Activities:

  • Prepare and submit the Final Presentation.
  • Present a 10-minute presentation with a 5-minute Q&A.

Entry Criteria: Final Presentation Submission.

Method: Offline presentation, 10-minute presentation with 5-minute Q&A.

Outcome:
Various Prize Categories:

  • 1st Winner: Rs 40,000
  • 2nd Winner: Rs 20,000
  • 3rd Winner: Rs 10,000
  • 4th and 5th Winners: Rs 5,000 each.

Incentive: Summer Internship Offers, Startup Grants.
